A Wonderful Birthday Surprise!!

Another year is gone by! And for my birthday i got to spend the day with my little girl... wasn't what i had planned for the day but her sickness changed my plans!! But that evening my dad & mom brought supper & Cake and my brother Justin, Ashley & Lexi all came up to celebrate my birthday.. It was really nice with all the family here!!! And after the day of waiting the phone call i finally got the call that my birthday present had arrived!! A new little niece!! On December 10th Wes's sister Tiffany had her 2nd little girl, Laynee Ann Hampton! After a long wait Laynee decided to come out and see the world! And we are so happy to finally get to meet her. And she couldn't of picked a better day!! My birthday!!!

I'm excited to see what Maya thinks of this little baby!! Ease her into having one at our house! But right now Maya has been sick so she doesn't get to meet her new little cousin Laynee just yet! But we will as soon as she is all better!!! Right now she gets to see pictures! She is waving to the picture and saying "doll". We are working on the baby part!! So for now Laynee is a doll!!

Jayce, Lexi & Maya's Photos

Atleast once a year, we like to take Maya and her two cousins, Jayce & Lexi to get pictures done! Last year was a breeze! Maya was 3 weeks old and Lexi was 1yr. Then for easter we did it again and it went pretty well, Maya was about 4 months old and Lexi was just over a year. Well this year we decided to take them to sears in mattoon and get their photos done there, we chose to do them in Red, but not Christmas backgrounds. So we loaded up moms car with Jayce, Lexi, Maya, Ashley, Mom & Myself. Getting three kids to smile and sit where we wanted wasn't as easy as we had hoped!!! but all turned out great! And they look adorable!! Jayce loved the whole picture taking experience he wanted them to take more! We were very happy for this, he normally isn't a fan of picture taking!!! After all the snapping of photos was over it was time to pick out the picture package we wanted and what poses! That was a blast, try telling a one year old and two year old to sit down while we look at pictures!! haha not going to happen. We still are not sure what all we ordered! But we did order the cd of all the shots so here are a few of the shots they had taken!! We are dreading it next year with 4 kids!!



This is Lexi (23 months) and Jayce (6yr) getting two siblings in a picture was a blast! Jayce really didn't want his sister on him and Lexi wanted to get up and get away! But after a few tries we got it! ANd they are just so cute!!

And of course our little girl! Maya who loved the camera this time as well as her 1 year photo shot! I'm so glad she is liking the camera now!!

Trick or Treat

Maya's 2nd year trick or treating! Last year she was only 4 days old and we only went to grandparents! This year we went to grandparents and a few family & friends. This year we decided to dress Maya as a ladybug! And when it came to looking for the outfit i couldn't find one i really liked... i looked and finally found the one i wanted, but WOW the price!! So i though, you know i bet i could just make it!! So i sat down and looked at the picture and made my own!! And i have to say she looked adorable!! and the price was MUCH better!!! It was very simple, made a tutu, sewed some wings added black dots & some rhinestones for sparkle!! Black onesize and antinna's! I added the lady bug on the front of the onesize and it said "Cute as a" and had the lady bug! I was very pleased! And it was comfy for maya to wear around all night.

She had lots of fun diggin into candy buckets, but didn't want to put the candy back down!

Well i guess all it took was singing Happy Birthday to her! Just a day after her birthday, Maya decided to take off walking!! We were playing with her in the livinging room and her Daddy stood her up and said "Ok Maya go get Mommy!" And sure enough she took off! She took 7 steps over to mommy and was ready for some more!! We were so excited we had to call grandma & Grandpa Landreth and Cammon & Tell them! Now we are full force ahead! She will stand up and take off on her own! Now just wait for the running!!!

Our little girl is turning ONE!! Wow i can't believe it has been a year! THey grow so fast!! We celebrated her birthday today with all our family!! And she enjoyed all of it! We had a lunch, then opened presents and of course smashed in to the cake!! She was loving the messy cake!! She got lots of fun toys to come home and play with! She was wore out by bed time!! It was a long weekend with the fall festival parade and halloween parade then a party! I will be posting pictures soon!! Right now i am beat!! Hopefully tomorrow i will get time to get up some pictures of the parade & Of her Party!!!

All the New Changes!

Growing up to Fast!!!


As the big number one approaches, we reallize how much our little baby has grown!! The year went by so fast, we can't believe it is almost over. This past weekend Maya gave up the bottle!!! We are now just drinking sippy cups!! It was suprisingly a very easy task!! So today we went through the bottles and put away the bottle's and transition sippy cups(soft bottle like tops) and went to stage three(hard top) sippy cups!!! So far she really hasn't reallized they are gone. We tested our efforts saturday when we went to flora to meet with Ryan & Holly & their girls. We really wern't sure how it would go with her seeing Ella's bottle... But all went very well, she watched Ella but never fussed for a bottle!! We are so happy & Sad at the same time!! This means she is growing up!! :(

Another new change for our family was the exciting news that we are going to have another little baby to keep our lives changing!!! We are so excited!! We are expectiing March 18!! Funny timing.... Jackson's birhtday & two days later Jayce's brithday!!! We will go on October 21st to have an ultrasound and maybe see what we will be having!! Hopefully we will have some news for everyone Fall Festival weekend!!

And with the new baby coming, we thought we would go ahead and buy Maya a big girl bed and just let her play and get use to it for a while! Not in a hurry to move her over, but we want her to see it and get use to it! So we picked out a cherry wood toddler bed, matches the crib and dresser set. We put it together and set the extra bed room up as a play room with the toddler bed in it! And she loves playing on it, she'll take her toys and climb up on it and sit there.

On September 20, 2008 our family and friends witnessed our wedding vows.. It was a beautiful day and the wedding went very well. We had 12 people stand up with us!! i know it seems like a lot... we had Holly Cammon & Melissa Amos as the Matron of Honors and Ryan Cammon & Jordan Robey as the Best men. Also we had Kendra Bowen, Julie Rinehart, Tiffany Cammon & Ashley Lagle as the bridesmaids and Anthony Boose, Joe Rinehart, Eric Martin, & Justin Landreth as Groomsmen. My little nephew Jayce was the ring bear and Wes's Niece Ava was the flower girl. And of course our little princess Maya was the Jr. Flower girl, although she just sat in Grandpa & Grandma's Lap!! I have posted a few pictures and hopefully will be getting the proofs back of the wedding pictures and can post some of them!
